Yes. In addition to requests to fund specific projects, the Endowment funds requests for general operating support. Requests that fall into either of these categories must be submitted by organizations whose work or proposed project is national in scope.
Lastly, requests for general operating support should target a specific area(s) of organizational activity, and like project-based requests, are restricted in this regard.
Does the Endowment fund renewal projects?
No. The Endowment does not recognize requests for previously funded activity.
Does the Endowment fund continuation projects?
Yes. The Endowment funds continuation projects if the organization can demonstrate that the activity is a logical 'next step' to previously funded projects.
Does the Endowment fund local organizations?
No. The Endowment's mission is to fund efforts that are national in scope. With that said, local organizations who believe they have a project with national impact are encouraged to pursue Endowment support.
Does the Endowment limit the number of times an organization can receive funding support?
No. Organizations are encouraged to apply annually. However, organizations will not be funded more than once annually.
